What is APD About
The Association of Administrative Professionals New Zealand Inc (AAPNZ) is a voluntary national association which supports men and women in administrative roles by offering personal and professional development opportunities.
International Administrative Professionals Day is celebrated by AAPNZ branches throughout the country as a day to recognise the importance of administrators.
The Nelson Branch of AAPNZ members represent a wide range of industries (law firms, local government, tertiary and secondary schools, research, travel, engineering, accounting and contracting firms). The branch meets once a month and holds seminars and workshops throughout the year on topics of interest to its members. To get an appreciation of the variety of topics take a look at the meetings for 2007 listed on this page.
Any administrator, whether self-employed or working as part of a team, will ‘gain an edge’ from the ongoing training, upskilling and education that the association offers . Networking with other administrators is also a key benefit to members.
So whether you are an administrator or employ administrators, you will be enhancing your work satisfaction and productivity by finding out more about the benefits of AAPNZ by joining them at the Nelson APD luncheon or at their free Information Evening.
