Welcome to the City of Sails

Black sand beaches, golden bays, ocean views that last forever, rugged bush, rolling farmland, orchards and vineyards, the hustle and bustle of thriving cities, quiet townships, riverside picnic spots, internationally renowned restaurants, people from all over the world, local history, local arts and crafts, latest fashions in trendy boutiques and so much more - the Auckland regions has it all and then some.

No matter what you like, if it is a quiet walk along a beach or a loud hip nightclub this region has something for everyone.

Auckland Groups

The Auckland Region has three groups, Auckland, North Shore and our newest sub-group, Counties Manukau to cover the Counties Manukau Region. This will allow members more options and flexibility to attend monthly meetings in the most convenient area of either their work or residence.

Guests are welcome to attend meetings at any of these three groups and may attend two or three group meetings before deciding whether they wish to become a member.

If you are interested to attend a meeting or require more information, please contact our Auckland Group President,

Growth and Retention Award

At the Conference Growth and Retention award was proudly received by Irene Pillay on behalf of the Auckland Group.

Auckland Group will now focus on on engaging our members by organising exciting events to network and support professional development opportunities as well as in preparing to host the 2009 Annual Conference which coincides with celebrations for the 35th Anniversary of the Auckland Group

This box was made by a member of Eth Lloyd's whanau, Jacques who is over 80 and lives in Blenheim and made this box for her out of Kauri in his home workshop.

This Award needs to be looked after, cherished and in particular desired. Healthy competition between the Groups to win this Award gives focus to gaining members and to balancing that growth with retaining members providing growth for our Groups and for AAPNZ nationally.
