Welcome to 'The Garden City'. We are internationally recognised as the garden city due to our centrally located 161 hectare Hagley Park, our Botanical Gardens, our four leafy inner-city avenues, Victoria Square and the gardens at Mona Vale on the banks of the River Avon.

The Christchurch Group meets on the third Monday of each month at the Hotel Grand Chancellor situated at 161 Cashel Street commencing at 5:30pm with refreshments.  Members can network with other administrative professionals who face the same challenges, to catch up with friends and to meet new friends before the main event/talk/presentation commences 6:00pm. The meeting usually finishes at 7:00pm.

Our members enjoy an interesting programme of speakers, professional development workshops interspersed with opportunities to mix in more informal social settings.  We are always looking for new ideas from our members.  Once a year a questionnaire is sent out to gauge what members want, but members don’t have to wait for this, just let one of the committee know.

A small fee of $10 for members and $20 for non-members is charged to cover the cost of the meeting, e.g. refreshments, venue and speaker’s gift.  First time guests may attend at no cost.

Members receive a monthly group newsletter  “AdminTimes - The Garden City” with details of the next event and some interesting articles.

All Administrative Professionals are welcome to attend our meetings and can request an information pack (refer to contact information below).
