Welcome to the Manawatu



 

Manawatu Group meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month in Palmerston North.  5.30-6.00pm provides an opportunity for refreshments and socialising and from 6.00-7.30pm a guest speaker is hosted or interactive workshop takes place.  Door charge is $5.00 which covers the cost of gifts for speakers and prize draw for the evening.  Business meetings are catered by our venue sponsor Kingsgate Hotel.

 

A wide range of professions including personal assistants, receptionists, administrators, tutors, executive assistants and committee administrators make up the membership of Manawatu Group.

 

Our meetings provide social and educational opportunities as well as a great networking opportunity for office professionals to mix and mingle with members of their own profession in a supportive environment.  An invitation is extended to visitors to accompany other members to a local restaurant to share an evening meal after the meeting.

 

First time guests may attend three monthly meetings, with the first meeting being complimentary of the door charge, before deciding whether they would like to become a member.

 

Group membership entitles the member to a monthly newsletter (published approximately 10 days before a monthly meeting) and a quarterly national magazine.  Manawatu Group has an extensive library and a range of promotional items.
