For ten months of the year our meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month at 5.30 pm at various venues in the river city.  The other two months are April and December. In April we celebrate Administrative Professionals' Day - this is usually on a Wednesday and in December we take a well earned holiday.

We hope you will take the opportunity to join us at our meetings; we enthusiastically welcome new and potential members - so please come along and bring a friend. 

Your first meeting is free, your second meeting will cost $10 - after which we expect that you will wish to join our group.  Members pay only $5 a meeting; this includes refreshments!

Our next meeting is on Thursday 27 August and is being held at De La Kaj in Victoria Avenue.  We will be shown how to make earrings!    

Our meetings are a mixture of professional and personal development and we look forward to your ideas for future meetings and shared learning experiences. 

Meetings are scheduled to commence at 5.30 pm on the fourth Thursday of the month.  Currently this seems to be the preferred day and time, especially with night descending on us so early at this time of year.  No doubt, many of you would prefer a cosy night in front of the heater but this makes going home after a meeting, even more rewarding, as when you have made the decision to come along to a meeting, you will have achieved more in your day - i.e. 

• enjoyed some social interaction and hopefully met some new people
• learned something new
• had an opportunity to win the raffle of the meeting
• laughed a little

and perhaps even talked or heard about something that provided some "food for thought".  

We have recently asked for members' feedback on what they would like to learn or have the opportunity to participate in, and we eagerly await the result of the members' preferred topics and development opportunities.
