AAPNZ developed and launched its Certification qualification in July 2004. Prior to the 2006 AAPNZ AGM, six members had achieved this recognition, including two from Rotorua, Beryl Harris and Sue Westbrook.
Eth Lloyd (Past AAPNZ National President) provides workplace assessments to measure an individual's intangible qualities, and evaluates behaviour or performance. This form of assessment highlights strengths, hidden potential, and can identify a framework of personal and professional development for the individual.
This assessment can then assist the individual to prepare and plan a personal development strategy.
Certification we envisage will become a nationally acknowledged qualification for administrators, and be recognised and accepted by potential employers looking for administrative staff.
