One space, or two, following a full stop/punctuation?
One space, or two, following a full stop/punctuation?
This is often a good discussion topic. What do you do, and why - do you have a recognised reference website/article you can quote?

Two spaces
Hi. I use two spaces, but when I worked for the Post Office a number of years ago we had a rule that three spaces were used. It took me a while to get out of that habit!
2 spaces.
My preference is 2 spaces in formal word documention and letters just for the ease of reading. Especially quick reading and full comprehension. 1 space for within tables and spreadsheets just because of limited space. What would we do if we stopped using paragraphs.
Always one space ...
Always one space - since the advent of computers. Stops 'rivers' of white space too.
Spaces after fullstops
ALWAYS two... that was the hard and fast rule in typing, including Pitmans etc.
One space, or two ...
I only do one space since the advent of the computer, but it always was two spaces on the typewriter.
Two spacer
I am a "two space" girl for no other reason but that was how I was taught at school, many many many years ago :)
