Introducing Wanganui Group
Welcome to Wanganui, the Historic River City and to the AAPNZ Wanganui Group webpage.
A very big welcome to our web page! The Wanganui Group celebrated its 15th anniversary in April 2011 - an achievement we are very proud of! This milestone is due to the commitment of all of our members - many of whom have been with the group for over ten years.
There are currently around 30 members of AAPNZ Wanganui Group - and we would love to increase that number. So please, keep networking and talking with like-minded administrative professionals who would benefit from belonging to our organisation - 'Each one, reach one' and we could double our numbers!
The Group Management Team is here to serve the members - we conduct surveys for potential meeting topics and members are free to contact us at any time with suggestions for meetings. We believe it is important to find a balance between personal and professional development and do our best to offer a range of speakers and topics, and encourage networking and information sharing among our group members.
Meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month from 5.30 pm - 7.00 pm at various venues, with light refreshments on arrival. There is a door charge of $5, which covers the cost of light refreshments and a ticket in the raffle. We welcome potential members to attend two meetings before making a commitment to join AAPNZ - and on joining, you receive an AAPNZ logo badge.
