The History of Administrative Professionals Day
Administrative Professionals Day (AP Day or APD) is an internationally recognised day that was started in the United States in 1952 by Professional Secretaries International – now called the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). Celebrated annually during the last week of April, APD recognises and celebrates the work of secretaries, administrative assistants and other office professionals for their contributions to the workplace.
